Harrisonville Telephone Company is excited to announce additional HTC FiberNet service turn ups in the Monroe County area.  These HTC FiberNet installations are in Country Club Hills, located in Waterloo, Illinois.  “These HTC FiberNet turn ups usher in a new era of telecommunications service delivery,” stated H. R. Gentsch, President and CEO.

HTC FiberNet is a new network deployment strategy that provides a fiber optic connection from the telephone switching location all the way into a customer’s home, stated H. R. Gentsch.  The technology is commonly referred to as Fiber to the Home (FTTH).  Typically, standard telephone connections are delivered with copper wires into your home, but with HTC FiberNet you get the very latest telecommunications services capable of fulfilling both short and long term customer requirements delivered over a fiber optic connection.

We are at an evolutionary period in the telecommunications industry.  As telephone networks evolve and customer requirements continue to increase on both voice and data services, HTC FiberNet can fulfill these requirements”, stated H. R. Gentsch.  It provides for the same high-quality voice connections, plus a superior experience for data and Internet surfing.  As the Internet continues to grow, so will the demands of customers in our area.  HTC FiberNet can meet these demands for both current and futuristic Internet service requirements.  With Internet access capabilities at 15Mbps to 30Mbps, HTC FiberNet users will experience a new level of Internet surfing.”

Currently Harrisonville Telephone Company is addressing HTC FiberNet deployment in multiple locations throughout the HTC serving area.”  H. R.
