Rod and Pat Boker live at Needmore Acres in Waterloo, Illinois. Rod worked for ATT for 26 years in St. Louis, Missouri but has retired from ATT and now does the same work for Hewlett Packard. You've all heard of outsourcing, well ATT sold Rod's IT department but was one of the lucky 40% to be offered a job by HP to do the same work.
Pat works as a Legal Secretary for a major law firm in St. Louis, MO for the last 6 years, but has been a legal secretary for 20 years.
Rod and Pat hand built their own log home their selves on 3 acres outside Waterloo, Illinois. The picture on the title page is their house. They both enjoy fishing on one of the 3 lakes that they have in their subdivision and gardening on their property. They named their place Needmore Acres because they can always use more space and really, they need some more acres of land. They still have some building to do and it will take several more years to get everything the way they have it envisioned.
