Bethel Church is at 2200 Camp Jackson Road, in the
historic village of Cahokia, Illinois.
Cahokia is southeast of downtown St. Louis, and is the oldest permanent European settlement in the Mississippi River valley. Cahokia was founded in 1699 by Roman Catholic priests from Quebec, as a mission among the Tamaroa and Cahokia Indians.
The St. Louis Arch and the downtown skyline are visible from many parts of the village.
The St. Louis Downtown Parks Airport in Cahokia, (618) 337-6060, provides smaller private aircraft with immediate access to downtown St. Louis and the metro-East..
It's easy to get to Bethel
Church, thanks to our location just off Interstate 255, and right
on a mass transit route.
If you're visiting from out of town, there's a new hotel at the same I-255 exit as the church, and plenty of restaurants on Camp Jackson Road to the west of I-255. RV Camping facilities are located on Highway 3 in Cahokia and at the Casino Queen complex in East St. Louis. Check the Cahokia Area Guide for more visitor services.
From Interstate 255, the major north-south connector
east of St. Louis, take Cahokia Exit 13. Turn left at the bottom
of the exit ramp, onto Highway 157, Camp Jackson Road. Follow the
curve and pass the bowling alley and several businesses. Bethel
Church is on your right, across from the Midwest Phillips 66 station.
