Bio-Poem
Choose a character from your reading and create a bio-poem using the following format:
First name
Position or family relationship
Four words (describe him or her)
Lover of (three or more things or ideas)
Who believed ( one or more ideas)
Who wanted (three things)
Who disliked (three things or people)
Who gave (three things)
Who said (a quote)
Last name
The poem you create should be written in blue or black pen or computer printed on white, unlined paper. Use colored paper underneath to frame and matte it. Finally, cut out pictures from a magazine or newspaper to illustrate the poem you have created. The pictures should be connected to the poem in some way.
You will receive credit for this assignment in the following way:
(12 points) 1. Your complete poem contains accurate information about the character you chose to write about.
( 6 points) 2. You illustrated the poem with pictures.
( 6 points) 3. Your poem follows all other instructions: colored paper, blue/black pen, white, unlined paper.
Write your name in the lower right hand corner of the paper.
