Movies and Music Feature Writer

The Task
Your job is to write TWO features, one on 1930s music and the other on 1930s movies.  The features will be like teasers on television.  You should try to get the audience interested in the music and the movie you select.  Each feature will be short (around 30 seconds total or 15 seconds each.

Process
1.  Browse through the resources below to help you learn more about music in the 1930s.
2.  Select one topic for your music feature and one topic for your movie feature.
3.  Collect the 5Ws about each topic as you read over your sources.
4.  Draft each feature and use phrases like "Coming soon to your local theater" or "Buy it in your local music store."
