Sports Writer

Task
Your job is to create a story for the sports section of your radio show.   Your part of the broadcast should sound like it was performed in the 1930s.

Process
1. Select a sports event from the 1930s; you may cover any sport of your choice.
2. Collect at least four sources on this single event.
3.  Read and reread your sources to collect information for your inverted pyramid.
4.  Create notes for your inverted pyramid on paper. Consider what your audience needs or wants to know right away.
5.  Draft your story.
6.  Create your headline.
7.  Conference with your group and revise.
8.  Practice your performance.
