From its beginning in 1842 the central message of Trinity Lutheran Church has focused on the love of God as seen in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As Christians we believe . . .

W The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and the only rule and standard of all Christian teaching and life. (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

W Sin is the breaking of God's holy Law. All people are born sinful and are therefore subject to death and eternal damnation. (Romans 5:12; 1 John 1:8)

W Jesus Christ, true God and true man, suffered, died and rose again to make payment for the sins of all people. (John 3:16; Romans 3:23)

W God the Holy Spirit leads people to repent of their sins and to trust in Jesus as their Savior. (John 16:8; Acts 16:30-31)

W To His Church God has given His Word and Sacraments, Baptism and the Lord's Supper, as a means whereby His grace is conveyed to His people. (Romans 10:17; 1 Peter 3:21; Matthew 26:26-28)

W All true believers in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in heaven. (Mark 16:16; Romans 6:23)
