Since 2010, Children First Learning Centers has been providing quality early education to children from six weeks to 12 years. At their newest Columbia location just off of Route 3, parents can take comfort in knowing their children will be safe while learning and socializing in a loving environment — whether they are infants, preschoolers, or grade schoolers needing after-school care. Outsider Pub
Although David Melican just purchased Outsider Pub in 2019, he was well aware of the pub’s community involvement before that. For two decades prior to buying the property, he bartended there and enjoyed helping with events which sponsored local charities and causes, like fundraisers to support SPPS and fish fries for Waterloo Optimist Club. When he bought the pub, he kept the same name and continues to hold charitable events as well as fun activities like luaus and Queen of Hearts drawings. Whether customers are stopping in after work for a cold drink or enjoying live music on a Saturday night, they always know they’ll be treated like family at Outsider.
