How to avoid email fraud

Trust your instincts

If an email seems suspicious, it is best to delete it and/or contact us. We are always happy to help with any questions!

HTC will never ask for your account info via email.

If you receive an email that says that you will lose your email account unless you respond with your login credentials, please do not respond. HTC will never contact you in this manner. Your email login is private and no one besides you should know it.

Verify links

Before clicking on a link, ensure the link points directly to our official domain - htc.net. Do not enter login credentials on any site that seems to have redirected you away from our domain.

Be aware of "phishing" email scams

Phishing email messages are messages that attempt to deceive you in order to gain access to your email account. If you respond to these messages, the senders will use any information that you give them in order to gain access to other types of personal information. They will try to trick you into believing the emails they send are legitimate messages from someone that you trust - like HTC.

If you have any questions we would be happy to answer them. Please call us at 618-939-6112.
