Joe Boccardi’s Ristorante
Born in San Martino, Italy as the youngest of 8 children, Guissepe “Joe” Boccardi learned firsthand what kind of meals could satisfy a hungry family. He brought that knowledge with him to America and used it to eventually to open four restaurants in the St. Louis area, including one in Columbia. Nearly 30 years later Joe and his son Ray are still sharing their love for hearty, authentic Italian food with Monroe County residents and their families who appreciate not only the delicious food but also his dedication to the community. The Boccardi family often donates a portion of proceeds to local schools and organizations, provides catering for area businesses, and even offers gluten-free pizza crust for patrons with special diet restrictions.
Joe constantly expresses his gratitude for the ability to succeed in this country, often saying “God Bless America” because of the opportunities it has allowed him.
